What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my free time, I love to swim. Being outside in the sunshine, preferably near water, is my happy place. I like to put down the devices and enjoy nature. Animals are also a constant source of joy in my life. It’s hard to have a bad day with a snuggly companion.
What do you like about the corporate culture of HPI?
What struck me about the culture of HPI is how deeply they care for people: employees, tenants, and the community at large. It is inspiring to be part of an organization where leadership sets the example of integrity, fairness, and charitable works.
What will help us, as a company, make smarter decisions?
I believe that people are always your best resource. Assembling the right team and maintaining strong communication will result in nimble problem solving and innovation.

One of the biggest influences in my life is our very own Katy Haney. She invested the trust and autonomy in me during a formative point in my career necessary to explore my full potential. Over the years, she has continued to shape my professional growth as a trusted mentor and a friend. I learned everything I know about being a great boss from Katy.
Holly joined Heritage Properties in January, 2022 as the Assistant Controller. She brings over ten years of finance and accounting experience from a wide range of industries including biotech manufacturing, information technology, professional services, and public accounting. Holly has held key positions in both publicly traded and private companies. Prior to joining Heritage, she was the Director of Finance for Lifematters.
Holly graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and a Master of Science Tax Concentration degree. She also holds a Certified Public Accountant designation.
