What do you like about the corporate culture of HPI?
HPI has a very supportive and family oriented culture. I enjoy the open candor among the departments. It helps to provide a comfortable learning environment in order for all of us to succeed in our roles. I believe that at HPI, everyone truly has each other’s best interest at heart because we are all willing to step in to help each other out.
Which is the best vacation you’ve ever had?
Being a military child, I traveled quite a bit around Europe when I was younger. But the best vacation I’ve had in my adult life was going on a cruise to Bermuda. It was 7 days of disconnecting from the world and relaxing with a group of friends. The beaches were so beautiful and I got to enjoy riding on a catamaran for the first time.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy playing softball and tennis during the spring and summer months. I also like to go hiking with my dog and hangout with my family. If I ever get the chance, I would love to go travel up and down the west coast starting in Seattle and driving all the way down to San Diego.
Michelle joined Heritage Properties in October 2019 as a Staff Accountant after working in the demolition and staffing industries. She graduated with her MBA form University of Maryland Global Campus and has a Bachelor’s in accounting from Towson University.
Michelle compiles tax work papers for several properties as well as manages budgets for new construction projects.
