Christopher J. Morris

Executive Vice President

What have you learned in the last year that will benefit HPI going forward?
The last year has been one of tremendous growth for HPI. It has been an exciting but daunting at times. However, with our team of talented, hard working men and women we have met the challenge and will deliver two of largest projects in our history.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors especially fishing and hunting. I particularly enjoy spending time with my children, nieces and nephews, and their friends passing on the traditions and lessons nature provides. Time moves along so quickly you have to take time to take a walk in the woods.

Please name a person who has had a tremendous impact on your life.
My grandmother was a tremendous role model in an odd way, in more of a Katherine Hepburn sort of way. She was well educated in the depression, married to an athlete, and raised four children. She had the kind caring crackly voice that I can still hear in my mind today. She lost her husband and two children early in life but still persevered and taught many life lessons in her remaining 35 years. Certainly not perfect but certainly a matriarch.
